Smarter Shine Co. was founded by two Iowa State Civil Engineering majors who decided that before they built buildings and bridges, they wanted to build a service for the Ames community — a mission that has since grown to serve the entire Des Moines metro.

Our standard starts with the basics done right: pure-water-fed poles for a true streak-free shine, low-pressure soft wash equipment that’s safe for siding, roofs, and landscaping, and a crew we train and employ ourselves — never a subcontractor.

But the standard doesn’t stop at the work itself. It’s showing up when we say we will, protecting your property before the hose ever turns on, and walking every job with you before we call it finished. Going above and beyond isn’t an add-on for us — it’s what earns a five-star reputation, one property at a time.
